Rainy Day New York University in NYC

It is raining and dreary today:  but I love the rain.      The past few days had been busy with school and work.  I am taking three courses at NYU this semester:  Rise of Civilizations; Latin American Politics and International Human Rights  - a whole lot of writing.  My poor brain is expanding but I am loving every moment.  Now its back to work to work on my project about Genocide and then off to another class.  Yes, my day at glance.

Relaxing Sunday

I am currently  home in Vermont hanging out with my sister.  I have been ill for a week now with that Flu virus going around.  I am better now; YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  On a flight recent to LAX Philicia Rashaad was on.  She has great energy and she was sweet and pleasant.  That was a rear treat as most of the celebrities are not approachable. She was a class act all the way.      I will be in Vermont for the next two days just chilling and then back to my work as a Flight Attendant.

San Diego Layover

My friend Simone and I just finish having dinner in Seaport Village at San Diego Pier Cafe.  Great, serene view but just average food.  I am also a vegetarian so I am always limited as to a wide selection of choices.  I love this city, it is very sweet to come.  The many homeless her must be content to live on the streets in such a beautiful city.      Tomorrow off to New York and then I have a Miami turn and then off for three days.  Live is sweet!

WOW and WOW

Today has been amazing.  I woke up early this morning excited about my prospect of being in a movie playing a Flight Attendant.  I went to Kaufman Astoria Studios for my fitting.  It was pretty cool because on my way to the studio, I found a nice little Thrift Store run of course  by the Salvation Army.  I will have to check it out someday.  After my fitting, I went to NYU to gather my thoughts and do my reading.      Tomorrow, I have my final trip of the month to beautiful San Diego.  well that has been my day so far.  This week as  been really busy with book release by Deborah Gregory who has just released her 'Catwalk' novel; seeing all family and friends, Piano playing at Diller-Quaile and classes.  I guess it could be worst. Singing off until next time

San Diego Layover

I am enjoying San Diego at my friend John Slade's warm and welcoming home.  It was also a great crew coming here this morning.  I only had one ugly, obnoxious, jerk of a guy coming here.  As this is the tenth anniversary of 9/11 I had many internal confusing feelings.      Anyway, I got to SAN and John picked me up for a wonderful lunch at The Hob Nob restaurant.  It was great seeing John again since his transfer to Dallas.  He is charming as ever.  We talked and then we went to see Point Loma and the off to La Jolla Cove.  It is such a beautiful day here.  The sun is bright and hot.  The people are happy and carefree and SAN is always ideal to me.     Now, we will be off to Frank Devlin's house for a going away party for his niece.  I am loving all of this moment.  So now I a off to get flowers for Frank!

School In Session

Wow,  I've been in school since I was two years old and no end in sight for me.  Anyway, this morning I had an early start in Shelburne, Vermont.  I woke up at 4: AM to be able to make the 6:00 AM Jetblue flight.  All flight crew must introduce themselves  to the Captain as they enter the sacred space of Jetblue world.  The Captain was as rude and as he was ugly and his First Office did not speak.  That sad persona and energy trickled down to the Flight Attendants who were not pleasant and friendly as they usually are.  Well, I got  to NYC safe and sound on a dreary, rainy, dark day.      I am excited as now I will be focusing on NYU and another semester before I finish my little degree - can't  wait.  I am also so thrilled to start my Personal Shopper and Closet Organizer agency.  Have no idea where to begin but will give it a shot day by day and  with each passing moment....
